Making a Difference

I am convinced of the power of community. Together we can make positive change happen in the world. I am incredibly proud of being part of the “Safe Water Gardens” team.

Safe Water Gardens

A school group has built a Safe Water Garden
People of all ages get involved in local community projects

Today’s global water crisis is defined by insufficient access to safe drinking water for over a billion people. In Indonesia alone, 370 children under the age of 5 die from contact with contaminated water every day (UNICEF report Oct 2016).

The “Safe Water Gardens” project was brought to life by a coalition of educators, concerned citizens, and business partners. Our vision is to provide rural households with safe, affordable water and sanitation systems. Through the possibilities of digitalization, we connect people around the world who are adapting the system to their region and needs. Together we will build 100 million Safe Water Gardens.
